Today marks the first day of Fairtrade Fortnight, a two-week campaign to raise awareness of the Fairtrade initiative and the global injustices it aims to tackle.
The movement is run by The Fairtrade Foundation, an independent non-profit organisation that rallies a global community of millions – farmers and workers, supply chain partners, brands, retailers, shoppers, schools, and governments – to pay fair prices and uphold fair production standards and practices.
We’d like to celebrate the hard work and commitment of Fairtrade by helping them to spread this simple message:
“making the small switch to Fairtrade supports producers in protecting the future of some of our most-loved food and the planet.”

Our Sustainable Manufacturing
By using 100% organic cotton, certified to the highest standard available within the industry, we’re able to cut energy use in production by up to 91% and reduce blue water consumption. Additionally, no harmful chemicals are used in the manufacturing and wastewater is reused, helping to keep our waterways clean.
The products are produced in a purpose-built facility powered by windmills, providing four times as much energy as actually used. The surplus energy is sent to the network for the benefit of local communities and reduces CO2.

Printing and embroidery can be very resource and material-intensive, so at A.M. Custom Clothing, making this element of our production as environmentally friendly as possible is crucial. That’s why we use some of the most advanced print technology in Europe, ensuring optimum efficiency and minimal environmental impact.
