This Fairtrade Friday, we’re want to introduce you to People Tree, a brand that you have quite possibly heard of before, as a result of them being leaders in the Fair Trade movement, through fashion.
The brand was founded by Sofia Minney who’s journey began in advertising, within this industry she got to see the realities behind the glossy image of fashion. Having seen the harsh conditions and social injustices she made the big decision to be a part of the solution rather than the problem; turning her lifelong passion for the environment and social issues into a business. People Tree was born.
20 years on, People Tree today aims to be 100% Fair Trade throughout their supply chain, with an array of certifications to ensure this can be guaranteed.
