The hazardous chemicals in your clothing

We find it really hard to believe that there are still companies out there still using hazardous chemicals in the production of their clothing, chemicals that are harmful to humans and are not necessary. The worst part is this isn’t happening rarely, with some of the biggest brands on the market supplying products holding these chemicals. However we feel it’s not entirely their fault, as suppliers should be taking the necessary steps to ensure no hazardous chemicals are in the products, and provide appropriate certification to prove this.

What is also quite shocking is how little the public know about these chemicals, with very few aware of how harmful they are, or what they really do.
So we feel Greenpeace’s guide to these chemicals is a great way to show exactly what all the fuss is about.
