The Requirements
Direct to garment (DTG) is possibly our most flexible print method, with a number of acceptable file formats. We recommend providing all artwork in vector format, however we can accept other formats providing they are high enough quality (300dpi or more).
We advise sending files over in .ai, .eps, .psd, or .pdf format.
We use some of the most advanced direct to garment technology available, and with this print method there are no colour restrictions.
Why is this necessary?
We suggest vector artwork or high quality artwork as that way we can guarantee the print on your products will be of the highest quality.
How do I get my files in this format?
When designing for print, especially with simple designs we always recommend designing within Adobe Illustrator. In using Illustrator you can produce vector graphics that we can easily print using a variety of print methods, direct to garment included. If working with photographs or more complex artwork we suggest using Adobe Photoshop.
If you are not the designer yourself, simply ask your designer or design agency for the appropriate artwork files. They will be more than happy to send these over to you.
